2024 Ms. Texas Senior Classic Pageant

Texas ladies are invited to attend a special event, a “MEET AND GREET”, on behalf of the 2024 Ms. Texas Senior Classic Pageant. It will be held on Thursday, March 7th at the Holiday Inn, located at 5701 S. Broadway, Tyler. This “Come and Go” event will be held from 11:30 – 2:30 and is designed for ladies to find out more about this pageant. Pageant State Director, Peggy Wagner of Plano, will be on hand to meet both perspective and former contestants, talk about the pageant, and spend personal time answering questions. Several former MTSC Queens will be present to visit and share some of their positive experiences. Co-Director, Brenda Hammond and Assistant Director, Jo Anne McMeans will be on hand to get acquainted with ladies who attend. The Ms. Texas Senior Classic Pageant hosts 4 categories. These categories are, “Philosophy of Life,” “Judges’ Interviews,” “Modeling,” and, of course, “Talent.” Mrs. Wagner is a professional choreographer…so, contestants receive free modeling lessons. Mrs. Wagner is quoted as saying when asked about the, “Talent” portion, “Everyone has a, “Talent”, whether it be singing, dancing, playing an instrument, displaying some art or handiwork or reading a poem. Several of the contestants meet each other for the first time at an annual themed tea given in honor of the Pageant Contestants. There are other opportunities to fellowship during the year. Ladies living across the Lone Star State are invited to attend. They must be 60 years or better and have lived in Texas for at least 6 months. The MTSC Pageant will be held in Tyler this September.
